A Journey through ADD and ADHD

A journey through the discovery of self acceptance and understanding

of the differences experienced in the mind and body when we have

ADD and ADHD accompanying us in this lifetime.

I believe an acceptance of these disorders is the next step in human evolution...

For all the individuals I have guided and worked with in helping

to create an understanding of how to embrace the conditions

that are characterised by hyperactivity, impulsivity,

restlessness, and inattentiveness ...

The need to initially focus on how they have

felt emotionally from the responses of their family,

friends, school, and authority proved to be a priority.

The need for self understanding of difference is vital,

as so often as a child, a young adult and adult,

the feeling of remaining daunted by the behaviour

that seems to create the separation of themselves

from their family, friends and colleagues

leaves them feeling alone, lost, rejected,

misplaced and misunderstood.

The natural desire to be accepted for oneself

creates the behaviour of trying to please...

The constant "don't do this, don't do that"

leaves disorientation...

A yearning to be close to others leads to

frustration and anger with the realisation

that change seems impossible.

The heightened sensitivity, creativity and high level

of intelligence of the individual is usual...

I recognise a presence of abstract thinkers and complex beings

that have a depth of thinking and feeling that

mostly differs from those around them.

Self acceptance teaches us to embrace the differences within ourselves...

Learning the skills and tools with a core set of boundaries

to focus on improving your structure at work,

in school, and in your relationships,

is needed for self expression on all levels,

which helps you to feel safe to redefine your truth

within yourself and the world.

“It is difficult to sufficiently put in to words how much this lady on the phone means to me.

Working with Jane has changed my life.

I was an emotional bull in a china shop - charging about, confused, and lost within myself.

The collaborative, thoughtful and disciplined approach

at that point a scheduled hour a week felt like discipline

allowed us to establish a set of tools which I could apply to my life.

There is no doubt that applying these brought significant changes for the better.

I have worked with Jane on and off for over three years.

I cannot recommend her services enough.”
